MILAZZO – LIPARI – VULCANO – MILAZZO
Lipari is the largest of the 7 sisters. The contrast between the breathtaking blue of the sea with the two famous stacks Pietra Lunga and Pietra Menalda and the white of the pumice mountains is enchanting. Picturesque is the historic center of the island where the acropolis is located on which stand the Castle, the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo, the Archaeological Park and the Aeolian Luigi Bernabò Brea Regional Archaeological Museum.
Departure from Lipari at 1.15 pm and arrival in Vulcano at 1.30 pm. Vulcano is the island of relaxation and well-being thanks to the therapeutic properties of its natural sulphurous mud baths. It owes its name to the phenomena of volcanism such as fumaroles and jets of steam visible both from the ground and in the water. It is impossible to resist a dip from the black beaches or the evocative landscapes by climbing the Gran Catere or visiting the Valley of the Monsters and the Grotta del Cavallo.
